The dual-action API® AMMO-CARB filtration media mixes AMMO-CHIPS™ filtration media and ACTIVATED FILTER CARBON to rid aquarium water of dissolved organic materials, ammonia, colors, and odors, all of which are harmful to fish and may result in fish loss. For use when starting or maintaining an aquarium.

Use 0.5 cups per 10 gallons of aquarium water. Rinse thoroughly under cool tap water to remove any loose dust. Place in filter inside the filter cartridge or in a filter media bag. Replace every 4 weeks or sooner for heavily stocked aquariums or when ammonia, odors or colors are detected.
